Priceless photo. Definitely a guy thing. I can't recall ever squatting with my mother.
However, I do remember squatting inside a circle of teenage baton twirlers (facing out) at a parade. Oh, and I had a little portable potty chair in the trunk of my dad's car for parades. No, he didn't shut me in the trunk to pee.
